I discovered Stand Up Paddleboarding approximately 14 years ago after the unfortunate loss of my mother to cancer. This sport has had a profound and positive impact on my life, becoming a source of solace and comfort. While paddling on Lady Bird Lake (Austin), I noticed numerous dragonflies, known as Bluets, flying and landing on me. Their consistent presence near me on the water inspired the logo

for Bluet SUP, featuring a blue dragonfly. I am passionate about teaching individuals how to SUP, with the intention of sharing the peace, joy, and beauty that paddleboarding offers. My primary objective is to ensure that beginners have an exceptional first-time experience, creating lasting memories that will encourage their continued enjoyment of the sport. I hope that you will develop the same love for SUP as I have and be warmly welcomed into the SUP Ohana (Family).

🌕 Moonrise, Music & Togetherness Last night’s waning full moon gave us the most peaceful glow as Dawn Maynor filled the lake with sound‑healing vibes. We shared Wagyu, fresh salads, fruits, sangria — and the best part was simply sitting together, enjoying each other’s company.

Introducing Gary singing his iSup Serenade! Gary is singing his way into the Sup community.... I had the honor of teaching Gary to paddleboard in May in a beginner's class. He has since joined us on sunrise paddles, gracing us with an occasional morning melody. This "iSup Serenade" is his creation, his song, and he performs it for his favorite Solsumo board. Its been years since "Bluets" have landed on me like this! I named my business after them, they represent my beginning days in paddling grieving the loss of my mother 15 years ago.....Sometimes 20-30+ on me while paddling....
I have always felt my business has been a gift from my mom.... especially the International Tours are always in her honor as she always wanted to travel and didn't get the chance to fulfill her dreams... I was so in awe yesterday with all them on me. Thank you my sup sister who capturedthe photo..... As today would have been my mom's 76 birthday!!! Happy Birthday mom!
