We appreciate all of the healthcare workers who volunteered to help with the 2023-24 Badger sports physicals last week. There were over 300 physicals completed for student-athletes grades 7-12. We especially appreciate our Arkadelphia Badger School Nurse News Beth, Spenser, and Macy for all they did!

Parents of 10-12 grade student-athletes- Your child received an email from Shalonda McCoy that includes an invitation to the Southwest Auto All Sports Banquet. There is also a link to an RSVP.
Please have your student-athlete respond to this invitation with a "yes" or "no" answer. This will be a great night celebrating our athletes. Arkadelphia native, Dr. Richard Moss will be our guest speaker!
As of now, 4A Baseball Tournament schedule is unchanged. The Badgers will play Prairie Grove tomorrow, May 11th at 12:30. If there are changes or delays, we will post here as soon as we are informed of the change.
To get to the game, type in Lonoke Municipal Ball Park into your phone's map app will get you directions to the complex.
No debit or credit cards will be accepted at the tournament. All programs, t-shirts and souvenirs are all cash only.

FREE Physicals for our Badger athletes are Tuesday, May 9th. Have you completed and signed the physical form for your child? ALL athletes must have a yearly physical to practice or compete. Forms are available in the Goza Middle School and Arkadelphia High School offices. Forms have also been sent home with the students.

Tonight we are expecting a FULL ballpark with the Badgers taking on Ashdown and all 7 fields being used at the Volz Sports Complex. Please arrive early, and have patience tonight when trying to park and always watch out for the little ballplayers eager to get into the fields! Due to the increased traffic expected tonight we will open the Flowers road gate for EXIT only. Arkadelphia Police will also be making increased patrols to make sure everyone can navigate the complex.

A great night at the ballpark last Friday! The Lady Badgers got the 4-3 win with a go-ahead home run by Makayla Gentry. Badger Baseball took down DeQueen, 9-0.
The Arkadelphia 2013 4A State Championship Team was honored during the boys' game. A big THANK YOU to Southwest Auto Collection for providing free hot dogs for those in attendance. Softball and baseball will both travel to Magnolia on Tuesday to take on the Panthers.

BADGER BASEBALL GAME UPDATE. The Badger Baseball game scheduled for this Friday at Hope has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 30th, due to weather concerns. The start time will be 5:00 p.m. for Varsity followed by the Jr. Varsity game.
