Getting a mixture of gills and crappies to get home for a fish fry

We definitely had to nickel and dime them and w**d some small ones out! Our best bite came later morning with a nice flurry

A good friend I met at my last job I worked for down in Waunakee!

Austin reached out to me saying he has some buddies coming up and wanted to get out to do some fishing with them. I said let’s do it! We jumped around to a couple areas that have been stacked with fish plunking a few from each area until they quit

Our goal was to get fish so they can enjoy themselves some great homemade fish tacos! Just hearing them talk about it made me hungry!

We have seeing a lot of gills in the 8-10” range and crappies in the 10-14”

Great day catching up with an old friend and getting to meet some great individuals along the way

Day two was much slower than day one. The fish were there and STACKED but they didn’t want to bite like yesterday. Through out the day we did catch some gills, walleyes, some crappies and sheapshead

Still a great day with these two gentlemen and blessed for every opportunity, sunrise, and sunset !!

Rain or shine these guys were absolutely ready to go 🔥🔥☔️☔️

Woody has been out with me multiple times through out the years and invited his great buddy Brien for some fishing action. We were expecting some rain so the guys brought some rain jackets. The Morning started off a little slow catching some fish but not what we were looking for. The Rain picked up, moved Locations, and the bite got better! Topping the day off with Briens new Personal Best in the Crappie category!

Mixture of Bluegills, Crappies, Walleye, and Sheapshead were all caught with many going back to fight another day

These guys are back with me tomorrow to see what else the lake has to offer!
