This is the Daily Herald Cook County All-Area Softball list for 2023 and the final high school post season recognition for most of the Fastball USA Softball Group that came together in 2014 at 9U/10U and went through 12U in 2018. Some played one year and aged up others came in 2015, 2016 & 2017. Listed below are their post season awards/recognition for the 2023 High School Season. Some of these young ladies have multiple years of MSL All Conference, Cook County All Area and ICA, "Illinois Coaches Association", All State recognition. In addition, this group produced the 2021, 2022 and 2023 MSL East Players of the Year and made a significant impact in the MSL East over the last three years.

I guess we will try this one more time. Good luck to all the former Fastball girls who are trying out for their high school teams this week. Hard to believe they are all In high school now and most have been playing 7 going on 8 years. I am certain they will all do well.
