What a great closing note for Symphony Equestrian. We took two riders and one horse to the Key Classic Charity show, and I am so proud of how well they all did.
Poetry took a big challenge, (riding a new horse in her very first show) and made it look easy. She came home with two reserve championships in her huntseat pleasure and equitation championship classes, and a fifth and fourth place as well.
Steller also had a great ride in her leadline class, she was so focused and rode perfectly the whole time, in a big class with 7 riders. Unfortunately I didn’t get many pictures of Steller’s ride but she and Huey looked great together.
I want to give a big thank you to my clients, fellow trainers, and everyone that has supported Symphony Equestrian. After packing up this show, we are closed for business here in Washington state, and will refer all new inquiries for lessons and training to other local and qualified barns. Thank you for a great weekend at the horse show and for all the support and smiles in this past year! Now, on to the next adventure!

Hello friends and clients of Symphony Equestrian,
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and friendship since opening Symphony Equestrian. In the past year we have accomplished so much in weekly lessons, horse shows, working student opportunities, and much more. I am so grateful to have had such an excellent group of clients and horses to work and build a community with.
After much consideration, I will be moving to Virginia in June to pursue more opportunities for both professional and personal growth and development. This has not been a lighthearted decision, I have put time and thought into all avenues of possibility and even though it is bittersweet to leave the northwest and everyone here, the timing is right for me to make this move now.
I will be teaching lessons as scheduled through May 1st. As my leave approaches, I will be touching base with each of my regularly scheduled clients personally via email or during lessons.
Again, thank you for your trust and support. As I enter this new chapter, I am filled with appreciation and wonderful memories because of you all, and for that I could not be more grateful.
Sincerely,
Jessica Hoy
Owner and Operator of Symphony Equestrian

This week our handsome Dragonsmeade Paragon had his 7th birthday!! We love having “Tony” in the barn, he’s been quite fun for our novice and advanced students to ride! Plus his goofy and sweet personality makes everyone fall in love. Happy Birthday Tony!
Here is a glamour shot from his younger days on the East Coast.
