Premier Martial Arts Arlington (West) offers a blend of karate, kickboxing, self-defense, and krav maga in our martial arts classes. I want you to stop scrolling for just a moment and listen to this little girl. ❤️

Our beautiful Deedee attended our Martial Arts Graduation at Premier Martial Arts Lakewood (Dallas). She came up and shared a few words with everyone.

If you've been following or heard of Deedee's journey, you know that this 10-year-old has been walking through something no child should ever have to experience—the loss of her mother, Toni, to cancer.

But when you listen to Deedee speak, I want you to listen beyond the circumstances.

Listen to her heart.

Listen to her strength.

Listen to her joy.

Listen to the wisdom and courage coming from a little girl who is continuing to find her way forward.

I've had the privilege of watching Deedee come into our studio, find me, give me a hug and share that beautiful joy that I see in her eyes.

She has reminded me over and over again why what we do at Premier Martial Arts is about so much more than martial arts.

It's about building people.

It's about building confidence.

It's about creating community.

It's about giving our children a place where they know they belong.

And Deedee has become a reminder to me of what happens when we surround a child with a village.

So before you comment, before you scroll past, before you move on to the next post...

Take a few minutes and listen to her speech.
