Thoracic Rotation: Welcome back to Movement Monday! This month, we are focusing on back/spine mobility. Today, we are doing Thoracic Rotations.
How to do it:
Start in a kneeling or seated position with your hands behind your head and elbows wide. Keep your lower body stable and slowly rotate your upper body to one side as far as you comfortably can. Hold for a moment, then rotate back to the other side. Focus on moving through your upper back, not your lower back.
A mobile upper back makes everything easier, from lifting to everyday movement. Add this into your warm-up or cool-down routine and let us know what you think!

Welcome back to Movement Monday! This month we are focusing on hip mobility.
Today we are doing the Elevated Pigeon Stretch.
How to do it:
Find a bench, box, or surface at around hip height. Place one leg on top with your shin parallel to the edge. Keep your chest up and hinge slightly forward until you feel a deep stretch through your glute and hip. Hold, then switch sides.
Adding this stretch before or after your workout is a great way to keep your hips healthy and moving well. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Welcome back to Movement Monday! This month we are focusing on hip mobility.
Today we are doing Elevated Hip Turnovers. You will feel this in your Hip flexors!
How to do it:
Find a plyo box, bench, or tire at around hip height. Place one leg on top and keep it straight with your heel resting on the surface. From there, rotate your chest and hip away from the box and come back. You'll feel a stretch through your hamstring, hips, and calf as you move.
If your hips don't move well, you won't move well. This is a great stretch to add before your workout a couple times a week to keep your hips smooth and flexible. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
