The scale is LYING to you ⬇

Well maybe not completely,

But it definitely doesn't tell you the full story.

So here's the deal.

Losing weight means you are losing pounds (obviously).

But it doesn't account for the other factors of your life.

If you are on a resistance training/lifting program...

..you could be losing weight but building muscle at the same time. (Yes that's possible if done correctly)

Because of that, the number on the scale might not go down as much as you think.

However your clothes might be fitting better, you're losing inches off of your waist, and your confidence is skyrocketing.

Yes, losing weight is a good metric to track, however it's not the only one to track.

Your success is determined by your overall quality of life, not by a number on the scale.

If you want to lose inches, have your clothes fit better, and gain a newfound confidence WITHOUT: ⬇

Yes weight loss requires you to be in a calorie deficit…

No that doesn’t mean you have to be in a deficit every day.

Weight loss happens over a long period of time.

ā€œThe whole is worth more than the sum of its partsā€

This is true with many things in life as well as weight loss.

If you overeat one day take the steps to get you back on track šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

āœ…REMAIN CALM!

It’s ok, it’s just one day of overeating, tomorrow is a new day and a new chance to do better.

āœ…Don’t Starve Yourself as Punishment

This is the worst thing you can possibly do.

Not only will you create unhealthy relationships with food, but you’ll be crashing your metabolism in the same process.

āœ…Enjoy yourself

Now this doesn’t mean go eat a whole cake by yourself,

But don’t be too hard on yourself if you have foods not on your diet plan.

We all want to lose weight and get in better shape to increase our quality of life.

You can’t sacrifice foods that make you happy and expect to live a happy life.

Moderation is the key to success for a higher quality of life šŸ”„

This is going to hurt to hear, but it’s the truth ā¬‡ļø

I’ll start this off with a fact:

95% of the people who say ā€œI’ll get to it eventuallyā€ don’t actually get to it eventually.

They keep spinning their wheels doing the same thing that’s always failed them.

And that’s why 42% of the American population is obese and dying before they’re 60.

If you’re goal is to lose weight, build muscle, or develop healthier habits, you need to start TODAY.

There will be no ā€œperfect timeā€

There is no ā€œWork is busy this weekā€

There is no ā€œI’m going to figure it outā€.

If your mindset is to ā€œEventually figure it outā€, you’ve already failed.

Take action, and own your life

We only get ONE SHOT at life, so instead of making excuses

Make it your best damn shot.
