Personal fitness solutions for future service members, prior to basic training or boot camp

This is an unpopular thing to say, but NCOs are to blame for all of the out of shape service members...let us explain.

You have a joe fail a PT test, and the solution is fairly clear. NCO says, "they are out of shape, and they need more PT to fix this deficiency." No complaints here. You're probably right. However, when a joe busts tape but passes their PT test, NCOs solve that problem by saying, "they are out of shape, and they need more PT to fix this deficiency." This is where you are wrong Sergeant, but it's not your fault. Here's why.

When you joined the military, you were introduced to fitness. You learned how to do the stretches and fitness programs prescribed. You learned how to run at increasing distances. Your pull-up, push-up, and sit-up game was on point. You had your food provided for you at the DFAC so eating was a task not a decision. For most of your career everything you knew about fitness was, "hey do this."

Now you're an NCO. Now you are the person that says, "hey do this", so the only option you have is to repeat what you've always known about fitness. This is usually some variation of, "if they're fat, it's because they don't do enough PT." Well I hope from the context you can see where we're going with this. YOU'RE WRONG Sergeant, but that's ok. We can help.

We offer nutrition education for anyone who desires to know more about how food works. We offer it to everyone, always have, always will. People go onto our website everyday and subscribe to our newsletter on nutrition.

The reason I have been directing this post towards NCOs is because of our new service for military leaders. We are now offering one day nutrition education seminar geared specifically for military leaders. Pay one flat fee of $0, (that's a really awful way to just say it's free) get as many NCOs in a room as you can get, and allow us to give them a basic understanding of how food intake influences performance on the battlefield.

We will stay and answer questions for as long as we possibly can. Our only goal is for our country's fighting force to be as physically healthy, energetic and lethal as possible. This service is free for leaders because we legitimately care about Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines.

So many times when we speak to people about weight loss, they talk about "losing a few pounds for beach season", or "tightening up for a wedding". I think we can all identify with these desires. We all just want people to see us at our best.

The problem is that we end up achieving our goals and going right back to our old lifestyles. Consequently, we go back to our old body that we were too ashamed to show at the beach in the first place.

The same is true for the military. Service members will lose weight prior to bootcamp, crush it there, get to their duty station, and then forget how had they had to work to get to their current state.

Luckily, you don't have to go back to fat. Our programs show you how to implement small changes into your life over time, sothat you can keep yourself on your track for your goals. We educate you on how to eat, how to exercise, and how to enjoy yourselves while doing so. You can start your program today for one week of free instructions. You can see success right away, and feel the control come back to your day. Energy levels will be up, you will be more productive, and you will wake up everyday knowing that you are moving in the right direction.
