Fun morning running a clinic for the girls that are on the Mamie Johnson Little League Softball team that made history by winning the DC 1 State Championship! 🏆

Now, they’re headed to Bristol, Connecticut for the 2024 World Series Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament.

This incredible team, composed of predominantly African American girls representing Ward 7 & 8, is breaking barriers and paving the way for young girls of color in DC to excel in softball. 🥎
