Weekend started off with making the long trip down to Roseburg to get laps at Douglas County before going there with Narc in a few weeks. Started the night out QuickTime, moved up two spots in the heat race, and took the lead from 3rd on the first lap and lead all 33 laps! After driving overnight, the crew unloaded the 360, and loaded the 410 to go run Skagit Speedway for the John Carroll Classic. We finally had the first smooth night of the year with the 410, went out last in qualifying and ended up 4th, won the heat from the pole, started second in the main, took the lead into one on the start and lead all 30 laps! Huge thank you to my crew for making this weekend possible, it’s not everyday you get a group of guys willing to go up and down I-5 three nights in a row to race.

With Skagit raining out, we decided to head down to Grays Harbor for the first race of the duel track series. We qualified P4, not the greatest combination of car or laps put down. Heat races ended up getting scratched to move the night along due to a few rain showers popping up. We ended up catching the invert to start front row and led all 25 laps!

Got to the lead in the 360 from 4th, and ultimately came up one spot short of the win after a few late race restarts. P4 in the 410, had speed to compete for a podium, just didn’t execute a string of good laps in a row once we reached striking distance of the top 3.
