Katie McMahon brings over ten years of lacrosse coaching experience, including both youth and high school.
Elevate Lacrosse LLC was founded in 2014 to offer elite private and small group lacrosse instruction and consulting services to teams and clubs in the Northern Virginia area. She started her coaching career in Davis, CA as a youth lacrosse coach from 2004 to 2008 and continued as the Head Coach of the Miramonte Women's Lacrosse Team in 2009. Things overheard while coaching: Player: "It was my birthday last weekend! I turned 10." Me: "Oh, that's so exciting! Happy Birthday!" Player: "Yea, I'm so excited. Now I'm old enough to chew gum!"
Things overheard while coaching: me:"Girls, I want you to keep practicing. Throw with your mom, dad, sister, or friend. I only see you once a week and practice is really going to help you!" Player 1: "My dad played in college and he shows me lacrosse things." Player 2: "My dad's a doctor."

somewhere over the rainbow, young girls forget it's raining because they are having too much fun playing lacrosse.
I am so thrilled to announce my partnership with PRIDE GIRLS LACROSSE. I have signed on as the Director of Operations, and will also be coaching the 2022 and 2025 team. Our first goal was to be transparent about our club values and offerings. The website officially launched TODAY, and we are so proud!
