Tournament ready, Tournament results! Wang Memorial 2022. Senior, Sequoia Burton led the way to the podium twice! Reed Dees and Junior, Anna Owings joined in. Congratulations to all ten Magnet Fencers for thier victories and growth.
Qualifiers went so well this year. There is an Open scheduled Saturday.

Another Junior Olympic Qualifiers is in the books. Two Caddo Magnet Fencers earned ratings. FIFTEEN students qualified to go to Salt Lake City. The highlight for me was students being able to run the armory table. I'm proud of the growth of this group and the camaraderie they share!

Magnet Melee fencing tournament tomorrow! Sabre at 9 and Epee at noon $20. Each event will be named after the winner for one year and free entry to defend their title. Come check out fencing. Free for spectators, only current Magnet students and teachers... Excluding me. (I'd totally win!!)

Divide and conquer. A couple of our Magnet Fencers took 1st and 3rd at Crescent City Open in New Orleans. Others had a good time at a Fairfield Ave tournament. Magnet Melee next Saturday!

Great year for Caddo Magnet Fencing. Junior Olympics in Colorado where we hung out with alumni and Colombia University Coach Michael Aufrichtig.
