Designing, Manufacturing, and Racing Formula Cars Since 1984

UTA Racing is the Formula SAE team from The University of Texas at Arlington. Every year our team designs and builds a formula car to compete in the Formula SAE Series against other universities across the globe. Established in 1982, the team is one of the most successful in the series' history, having won eight championships in the United States and three abroad.

First day at the SCCA Solo National Championship is complete! It was a little busier than we would have hoped; the UTA-Mod had two separate failures but we were able to get them fixed in the end, currently sitting first in both AM and AML. In FSAE we’re sitting first and second!
So many people have come by to help us make repairs, and we want to thank all of you so much! Thank you also to the 47 car in AML for letting our driver make some runs while repairs were being made! The autocross community is so friendly and we appreciate all the help!

We had a great time this weekend! Our members were able to showcase our car, F23, talk with industry professionals, and enjoy a great weekend at COTA. Thanks to Circuit of The Americas for inviting us to attend Lone Star Le Mans, and a big thank you to Ford Racing, Bosch Motorsport, and Peugeot Sport official for giving our teams a tour of their paddocks.
