A little bit about Hannah Clough:
- How many days a week do you workout (and typically what time slot)?
Usually around 4-5 days per week. I go to a bunch of different class times - whatever works with my crazy nurse schedule that week. But most often, you'll find me at 4:30PM with all my besties.
- What is your favorite thing about BCF?
I love the community and support BCF offers to its members. I have met so many amazing people and made so many friends throughout my time at BCF. There's nothing better than trying to finish a workout and having your friends and the coaches cheer you on.
- What is your favorite movement/workout? Least favorite?
I love cleans and snatches. My least favorite: bench presses and strict presses.
- What accomplishment are you most proud of (inside or outside the box)?
The past few years have been crazy, but I am most proud of being an ICU nurse amid the pandemic and graduating from graduate school, all the while staying committed to going to the gym as much as possible and making that a priority. BCF makes it easy for members to achieve and maintain their goals.
- What is one goal you would like to accomplish in the next year?
I want my ring muscle up!
- What advice can you provide to people new to the box?
Don't give up. I remember starting as a new member, and being incredibly nervous and intimidated. It's hard to learn all of the new movements, meet new people, and get to know the coaches all at once. But one day, you'll go to the gym and realize how much progress you have made since the beginning. Once you reach your first crossfit goal, you'll keep coming back for more.
