Congratulations to Heather Carrizales, our Elite Swimmer of the Month! 🏊‍♀️

Heather consistently puts in the effort to become a better swimmer and has made some awesome progress in the pool! She is especially strong in butterfly and freestyle and is part of AAC’s 11–12 SCY 200 Medley Relay record with a time of 2:15.79! 👏

Heather’s hard work doesn’t stop at the pool. She is an A/B Honor Roll student and serves on Safety Patrol at school. Her coaches are especially proud of how receptive she is to feedback and how she uses it to continue improving.

Keep up the great work, Heather! We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Emily Lacy, our Challenger Swimmer of the Month! 🏊‍♀️

Emily is an incredibly hardworking and dedicated swimmer who isn’t afraid to push herself! She qualified as IM Ready at both 10 and 11 years old and continues to make progress across multiple events and strokes. With swimmers like Katie Ledecky and Lilly King inspiring her, Emily brings plenty of determination and a little rock-and-roll spirit to the pool! 🤘🏊‍♀️

Outside of swimming, Emily stays just as busy as a member of her 6th-grade Student Leadership Team, an A/B Honor Roll student, an advanced math student, and a violinist in orchestra! 🎻📚

Congratulations to Amaya Salazar, our Discovery Swimmer of the Month! 🏊‍♀️

Amaya may have only started competing in 2026, but she has quickly shown just how much she loves being in the water! She comes to practice with a smile, ready to work hard, takes coaching and feedback seriously, and is always looking for ways to get better.

Recently, Amaya advanced to a new group and has taken on the challenge without missing a beat. In Coach Ethan’s words, she has truly “blown it out of the water!” 🌊👏

Outside of swimming, Amaya is a straight-A student and a member of her school’s Destination Imagination team. We can’t wait to see everything she continues to accomplish!

Congratulations to Rudder Trammell, our Pre-Comp Swimmer of the Month! 🏊‍♂️💙

Rudder took a huge step in his swimming journey this summer by competing in his first swim meet! He loves being in the water, especially swimming butterfly, and continues to show how persistent and hardworking he is each time he comes to practice.

Rudder is a great listener who isn’t afraid to ask questions, help his friends, and challenge himself. His coaches love the positive and caring attitude he brings to the pool, and that determination is going to take him far!

We’re excited to watch you continue to grow, Rudder! Keep up the awesome work!
