BACK TO BACK STAR OF THE WEEK HONORS FOR OUR QB1: He's our signal caller, he's one our safeties, he's had to fill in at kicker, he's part of the Tigers' leadership council, and he excels at all of it. Arp High School junior Ty Langley is once again our Texas Farm Bureau Insurance- Smith County Star Of The Week after another dominant outing Friday in our 46-7 victory at White Oak. He accounted for 256 yards of total offense while scoring three touchdowns. He also made four tackles, and kicked four extra points.
Big thanks to Melissa Busby & Texas Farm Bureau for helping us recognize our student-athletes.

GREAT WEEKEND FOR OUR J.H. 🐅🏐 TEAMS: Congrats to our 7th grade A team ladies who won the 7th grade consolation bracket Saturday at the West Rusk Invitational Tournament. Also great job to our 8th grade A team, which finished fourth in the 8th grade consolation bracket at West Rusk's tourney.
After falling to Grace 2-0 in their opener, our 7A ladies defeated Big Sandy 2-0, and Carlisle 2-0 to claim the consolation title.
Our 8A Lady Tigers fell to Grace 2-0, then beat Big Sandy 2-1, and fell to West Rusk 2-0.
Both teams along with our 7th grade B-1 team are in action again Monday afternoon as they host West Rusk in the Arp Jr. High gym.
So come on out to support our hard working young ladies please.

ANOTHER DOMINANT PERFORMANCE: Our Arp High School varsity Tigers🐅🏈 shut down White Oak Friday & came away with a 46-7 victory improving to 3-0 on the season.
Junior QB Ty Langley had another stellar performance. The reigning player of the week rushed for 201 yards & three touchdowns on nine carries. Sophomore Tanner Hunt added 86 yards on the ground on 12 touches with a pair of scores, while junior Noah Beck tacked on two more TD's with 75 yards on 15 totes. Senior outside linebacker Hudson Orpineda led the way defensively with 14 tackles, while senior linebacker Chrisden Ellis added ten.
So let's get ready for homecoming next week. We host Shelbyville on Friday, Sept. 18. The ceremony is at 7:00pm, with kickoff at 7:30pm.
