A little video showing the cold blueing process. Some parts of the metal may not take the cold blue as well as other parts. Just keep repeating the process until you can't tell a difference anymore between coats.

New project...going to do a cold blue and cleaning on this R***r .22 Magnum Single Six. It has been through a fire and has some very minor issues but hopefully will clean up nicely. Not worried about losing the old look to it. The gun belongs to my nephew who got it from his dad. So it's a memory piece and not so much collectable. That's what you must think about before doing this type of project. Rebluing an old gun can take away the value sometimes. If value is what your keeping it for, then just do light cleaning and keep it oiled don't reblue.

Second shotgun was a Wi******er model 101 12 gauge over under shotgun. One of the barrels was not firing. I found a sear was broken and someone had worked on the gun previously and installed the sear release backwards so it was not moving forward enough to engage and release the sear when the gun was being fired. I replaced the sear and properly installed the sear release and the gun works as it should.

Had a customer bring in a couple guns to work on. First one was a FAB Arms 410 side by side breakaway shotgun. One of the barrels was not firing. Upon inspection I discovered a firing pin was broken as well as a plunger was missing from the trigger return. I looked online and was not able to locate any information on this gun. I could not even find replacement parts. While digging on the internet I did locate some old shotguns that used similar parts. I ordered a firing pin and plunger from similar shotgun and used my dremel to make the parts fit. I was able to get this shotgun back to life and functioning again.
