Handing these medals out is so special to me 🥰 seeing how proud my students are of themselves, and seeing how proud their parents are of them is just SO SWEET! These aren’t participation trophies over here, these are hard earned, well deserved symbols of their success at completing their first ISR session!

Absolutely heart broken to hear about the drowning incident at Brantley Lake yesterday. Please be praying for the victim’s family.

Drowning can happen in under 30 seconds. Drowning can happen to even the most experienced swimmers. Drowning accidents are just that. Accidents. No one prepares for these things to happen

Have I told you lately how much I love my job and how blessed I feel to be able to do this job day in and day out? Because I truly, truly love my job!

It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted an introduction, so here’s an updated one

Hi! My name is Jade Donaghe and I have been a Certified ISR Instructor since 2023 💙 I have been blessed to teach students from Roswell, Carlsbad and Artesia.

I currently teach year round at the Artesia Aquatic Center and I am so thankful for their generosity and hospitality.

My swim families have all been so amazing and I have made soooo many incredible life-long friendships through this job.

I never take for granted how much trust it takes for a parent to hand their child over to me. I always prioritize parent education because when parents are more informed, they are able to provide a safer environment for their child in and around the water.

I was fortunate enough to teach my two youngest children to swim and if I’m not in the water for work, you can bet you’ll find me in the water for fun!
