I picked up my first stick 33 years ago.

This fall makes 25 years of coaching for me. 14.5 years of those 25 have been dedicated to STYX and athletes of Maine and New Hampshire.

This sport has given me so much. Friends, memories, purpose. I simultaneously see history and future. It is such a beautiful thing.

For some this game fills their time. For some it is an outlet, a safe space. For some it is something they excel in, something they have long terms plans with. It means something different to everyone. I love being a part of everyone’s journey in some way.

Take a second today to appreciate the game. Be present. Be where your feet are. Take a look around. Take a mental snapshot. Regardless of where this game takes you - appreciate what it gives you now.

Week 2 is gonna be a busy week!

If you are attending the Oak Hill Playday be sure to swing by the tent & tables!!

So many great stick brands to choose from!! Osaka, Adidas, Princess, Y1, Brabo, Harrow, Indian Maharadja, Aratac and more!

We also have corner masks, gloves, hocsocx, mouthguards and grips.

Another fall season is here!!!

Be sure to notify me of schedule changes. And youth & middle schoolers - send me your schedules if you haven’t already!

It’s gonna be a busy fall. I will be at multiple playdays with sticks and equipment for purchase. We are hosting a Free Clinic with our feature college players. We have our Workshop/Clinic events for coaches and players. And I will be at as many youth, middle school, high school and college games as possible!

Congratulations to our STYX athletes who were selected for the 2026 NFHCA Watchlist and the 2026 Max Field Hockey Watchlist.

Of the athletes selected from Maine - STYX players made up 14 of the 25 NFHCA selectees and 3 of the 5 Max selectees.

These are national awards and the athletes represented are anticipated to be contenders for All Region and All American awards.

Excited for the seasons to begin!

There will be a panel at 4:45. Emma Tiedemann, Lani Silversides and Jennifer Kessy will be the guest speakers.
