We created the Colorado Qualifier Series to solve a problem: Colorado athletes deserved a direct, respected, and professional path to the world stage without having to leave the state.

By merging the warrior ethos of the Spartan Cup - strength, courage, resilience - with the excellence of the All-American Championship - honor, patriotism, and tradition - we have built a two-event system that serves one mission.

𝟏. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲: Host two official KT/ICO/SKW - sanctioned qualifiers in Colorado - May and September - giving every qualified athlete a fair chance to earn a spot on ICO Team USA.

𝟐. 𝐔𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: Deliver world-class events through Kombat Taekwondo platform, where traditional values meet modern, Semi and full-contact competition.

𝟑. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: We don’t just award trophies and medals. We identify, develop, and promote Colorado athletes who have the character to wear USA across their chest.

Many congratulations and safe travels to the incredible athletes heading to France this October to represent not only Team USA, but most importantly representing our beautiful state of Colorado at the ICO World Championship.

Each one of you have worked tirelessly to earn a spot on the world stage. As you step out to compete against the best in the world, know that your entire Colorado community is incredibly proud of you and cheering you on every step of the way.

To everyone who have competed yesterday, please note that we will send you a digital certificate to all first place who have qualified for ICO team USA for Hungary 2027, if you did not qualify, you will have another opportunity in May 2027.

My goal as your representative, and ICO USA-West regional director is to ensure that we send our best athletes to represent Colorado. By ensuring that we approve only our best, it gives every competitor the opportunity to work hard to earn a spot, rather than diluting its privileges and high standard by numbers.

I truly believe and will always stand for what is best and beneficial for all of our athletes, regardless of affiliation. But, when it comes to TEAM USA, our State will only send the best!
