Seems like it’s been such a long time but finally we are looking forward to seeing everyone at our next gymkhana on Sunday September 6
Weather is suppose to be in the mid 80s
We are looking forward to seeing everyone
Don’t forget we will have concessions on sight

Ok everyone. I am sorry to say we are canceling our gymkhana this Sunday aug 2nd. Due to the extreme heat
Not safe for horses or people to be out
The temperature have gone up to 102 in the Arvada area
Stay cool and we hope to see everyone at the next gymkhana September 6th

Please help spread the word
We are watching the soaring temperatures and will make a decision if we will cancel sundays gymkhana by Friday
So far temperatures are showing from 98 - 101 depending on whose weather app you use
Both too hot for our arena help and horses. Especially ones that have several people sharing
We are hoping the temperature comes down and will be keeping a close eye on the thermostat

Ok Rebel Rider competitors
We need your vote
As you know we have had some extremely large turnouts for our gymkhanas and have had some suggestions on how to get through the day quicker
We have the use of the warm up arena and it was suggested (thank you Courtney Simmons) that we use it to speed things up a bit
There is no sound system for the second arena so everyone would really need to pay attention to where they are suppose to be
Courtney has another set of timers for the other arena
So here are some choices to vote on
#1
We do only poles in the second arena. Since it takes the most amount of time
All age groups while we start the other events in the main arena
#2
Do all events for lead line and Novice in the second arena. Everyone else in the main arena
#3 keep it as is. Everyone in one arena

Which ever one you vote on We will try at the next gymkhana July 5th
So please vote in comments for 1, 2, or 3
Please note: while I appreciate the added suggestions we are only offering #2
As stated for now we can always make adjustments as we go
Lead line and novice are generally slower than the other divisions
Also there are family’s that’s have more than one child and ride themselves plus we have a lot of teenagers that run the lead liners through the pattern
I do not want to wear people out by running back and forth to arenas including my announcer and gate keeper and my self

Sunday June 14th
We have had great turnouts with some wonderful people
Thanks to everyone pitching in to help especially cleaning up after yourselves and horses
We are expecting a smaller crowd Sunday due to westernaires white division show that same day
Also will be great weather as of now it is say mid to upper 60s. Our horses will love that
We will not be having breakfast burritos for this show, my chef will be out of town but we have made arrangements to have someone else (Taylor’s boyfriend) run the concessions
We will have donuts
