Our Coal Key Scuba & Travel trips are diving and so much more. Our divers took time from diving Cenotes with world-renowned Cave explorer, Julia Gugelmeier to visit the ruins in Ancient Mayan city of Coba. 😍

On our 2025 Coral Key Scuba & Travel cenote trip, we dove Cenote Angelita. In this cenote you will find an incredible underground river. This river formation is an illusion called halocline. It is created by saltwater from the sea that passes under freshwater from the rain. We were lead through this cenote by world-renowned Cave explorer, Julia Gugelmeier. WE'RE BACK! 🤩🎉 We just returned from our second Coral Key Scuba and Travel group trip to dive cenotes! It was an entire week of Cenote diving and it was awesome. We are so honored to be led by a world-renowned cave explorer, Julia Gugelmeier. We are proud to highlight one of the caves this week that we saw: Cenote Dreamgate. This Cenote is part of Sac Actun system, the largest underground river system in the world. The depth of this cenote is 30 feet/ 9 meters approximately. This incredible cenote is known for its spectacular formations of stalactites, stalagmites, columns and crystal clear water.
