Pro staffs, are they good for the fly fishing industry? Is it helpful to have influencers large and small hawking products they’ve barely used because companies have sent them these products to promote? Here at we don’t think this type of promotion is helpful or constructive and we encourage you as a consumer to always consider your sources and their motivations. We pride ourselves in NOT taking any sort of sponsorships or pro staff positions even though we are regularly approached to do so. We will never water-down our word by allowing it to be bought. - Best foam dry fly (Prize: $250 CFB gift certificate)
- Best “any other” dry fly (Prize: $250 CFB gift certificate)

If you submit an original pattern it will automatically be entered into either “best foam dry fly” or “best ‘any other’ dry fly”, depending on which is appropriate.

THIS IS NOT JUST A TROUT FLY COMPETITION! IF IT FLOATS, IT CAN BE SUBMITTED!

The best foam and best “any other” categories will be judged on difficulty and ex*****on. The best original category will be judged on creativity, innovation, difficulty, and ex*****on.
