Congratulations to Zylaysha Gambrell, Student Body President at Arvada High School — named a 2025 Rising Star by the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce!

Zylaysha leads with purpose: championing school spirit, mentoring peers, organizing community events and even shadowing the mayor. She's a member of the Jeffco Student Leadership Board, National Honor Society and Outdoor Lab — all while competing in three sports.

We're so proud to have students like Zylaysha representing Jeffco. 🌟

All Jeffco Public Schools buildings and facilities will be closed on Wednesday, May 6, due to continuous snowfall and widespread power outages. Charter school families please check your school to verify weather-related delays and closures.

All childcare programs, after-school activities and meetings scheduled to be in Jeffco Public Schools facilities are canceled (unless the school notifies you directly). CHSAA-sanctioned games and activities will proceed as planned.

No Jeffco Public Schools transportation services will be provided for services within or outside the district. Employees do not need to report to work; only essential personnel are required to report.

Greater Arvada Chamber Announces 2025 Young Professional Leadership and Rising Star Awards The Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2025 Young Professional Leadership and Rising Star Award winners. Recipients of these awards will be honored at the May 6, 2026, Greater Arvada Chamber 75th Annual Awards Ceremony from 9:00 - 10:30 am at Revive Church.
