Dear Students and Parents,
It has been a great year at Enshin Karate. We’ve managed to improve from last year. Enshin Karate have made progress because we are always striving to enhance ourselves. Japan recovered after World War II because they adapted Kaizen philosophy, which means [seeking] ‘a little bit improvement' every day. At Enshin, we are trying to follow the same concept.
Next year is approaching very fast. It is already time to set up our goals for the upcoming year. Personally, I like to write my goals on a piece of paper and tape it on the wall above my bed. This way, each morning, it will be the first thing I will see, and I can ask myself, "What I can do today to get closer to my goal?" Also with this strategy, the piece of paper will be the last thing I see before going to bed. Then, I ask myself, “What have I done today to get closer to my goal?" If the answer is "nothing” too many days in a row, I will know that it is time for me to change.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
