Finally an in person race during the pandemic. Awesome to help out and run with in the . Reconnecting to my service work in my running community was a breath of fresh air and does wonders for my spiritual and mental health. I slept through my alarm but thank God for covid and rolling starts I got my 13.1 in and had a blast. Barefoot running through puddles in the rain is... Well... one of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning. Connecting to the earth and elements and cheering my fellows on inspires me. Thanks to all who showed up and made the effort. I'm glad I did what I resisted. Hope you're all well and practicing the endurance that will bring us through. 👣
