As a business, we’ve felt so welcomed into the Asheville community, and through the business we’ve met some of our best friends.
We’re so grateful to all of you for your support, and for choosing us to support you on your health and fitness journey.
If you’re wondering, this decision was put into place before the storm, so while we won’t be helping people regenerate their bodies moving forward, trust that we will be doing our part to help regenerate the community (we know you’re doing your part too).

Before:
Katie was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 12, and over the years it led her to seek relief from a wide range of practitioners. However, nothing she tried was able to provide any lasting relief.
Before starting to work with Carrie and Scott, Katie was experiencing consistent daily pain in her left lower back rated at a 6-7 out of 10, with flare-ups reaching 8-9 in intensity. Chiropractic visits were necessary every other week to prevent her back from locking or flaring up, especially on her left side. This chronic pain affected her ability to sit for extended periods without discomfort. Working in the floral industry and using her hands a lot, she would also experience carpal tunnel flare ups that made it challenging to work and would leave her in pain after a long day.
Overall, life was characterized by ongoing pain, temporary relief, and limited solutions.
After:
After 4 months of consistent training, primarily led by Carrie, Katie experienced significant improvement, with most days now being pain-free. She was able to stop seeing the chiropractor completely during our time together. Flare-ups still occur about every two weeks, though now at a greatly reduced intensity of 4-5 out of 10 instead of 8-9. By straightening her spine, Katie’s height increased by ¾”, and she’s expressed feeling more confident, stronger, and literally taller. Her carpal tunnel is now a non issue.
Along the way, her anxiety and depression decreased, and she describes feeling brighter and lighter. Her progress was marked by increased confidence and a notable reduction in physical and emotional discomfort.

“I’m now feeling stronger and able to hold myself better than I ever have. I’m living with so much less pain and more freedom, and it feels really empowering to have a found a path that really works for me, and to be able to visually see the results.”

To kick off 2024, we are (and have been) taking a break from social media for the month of January.
However, we’re not taking a break from helping you reach your freedom of movement and vitality goals! We are in full swing, with a weekly class, and new offerings in the works.

We also focus on being a healthy part of the ecosystem in which we operate.

Can our business be regenerative?
Can it build soil from which things grow?

With the updated website, these follow-alongs now live in a new spot. If you’re in an active membership, this library is included in your plan, so reach out to your practitioner if you’re having trouble/would like to know how to access it.

Have you ever thought about your body as an instrument, and your movement as the music you play?
There are many ways this analogy can be applied, and today we’re going to look at the idea of being “out of tune”.
Music that is out of tune is less pleasant. The same goes for movement.
Movement that is out of tune is difficult, uneasy, and uncomfortable. If you’re experiencing out of tune movement, you’re likely experiencing some unpleasantness as well.
Depending on how long your movement has been out of tune, you may have “tuned out” the signals and no longer listen to them.

Are you trying to use the same methods that lead you to your current situation?

Because it’s your current way of thinking that’s lead you to your situation. It’s your current awareness and understanding of how you use your body that’s got you in pain or limited your athleticism.
This quote also leads you to realize that the change you desire starts with a new way of thinking.
The change you desire starts with a different consciousness, a different awareness.
Odds are, you need a greater understanding of how your body works together. How the parts of your body connect and integrate in movement.
You need to become aware of what a deeper alignment feels like in your body.
You must learn to see the bigger picture, to address the system that is your body, and not be stuck focused on the symptoms.
