I will be there Monday at 11am for class! We have no power and no water, but we'll have Tai Chi!

Join us for an authentic Tai Chi and QiGong experience. Learn how to improve your balance, mental clarity, stress management, and overall awareness.

Tai Chi reverses everything!
Folding your hip, or the kua, is a great low impact skill to build for mobility and flexibility.
Why Tai Chi?
One of the things we work on in Tai Chi is body quality. One of the first things is how to "melt" the shoulder. This is amazing for anyone who has any kind of shoulder issues, or just anyone who wants to be able to relax their body, feel less stressed, and feel more energy.
The 4 Primary Powers of Tai Chi are Peng, Lu, Ji, Ahn. Peng Jing is said to be the key to them all- but is generally poorly defined. To nebulous to be actionable. Here's where it starts.

A word from one of our students!
This is the Liu Tai Chi Form. I learned it in Jilin City, China from Liu Chan Shan. It's one of the long forms that we teach.
From our longest training student! Thank you!
Derek Croley’s Tai Chi classes are excellent. He is a skilled practitioner who has been refining his own martial arts for over forty years. Derek allows himself to be an available and transparent teacher who is able to explain and demonstrate complex ideas in a way all can grasp. That said his class is a welcoming place for students of all levels.
Derek is a kind and generous and humorous teacher who creates a welcoming, non-competitive space. Coming to study here you will learn much from him and from your fellow aspirants as well as being encouraged to develop a practice of your own.
One doesn’t need to know anything in order to begin, yet Derek also welcomes more advanced students. I have enjoyed working with Derek for the last two years and still find myself surprised by how much I learn in every class. If you are considering Tai Chi, or looking for a knowledgeable and well known teacher in the martial arts world this is the place for you.
