GROUP RIDE UPDATE, READ ME:

We’ve been fine-tuning the Wednesday ride and want to shake it up with longer 15–20 mile routes, while keeping it a fun, leader-led, mixed-surface ride!

To cover that ground on a weeknight, we’ll keep a steady pace geared to the middle of the pack and regroup at the top of each climb for up to five minutes, then roll on.

⭐️ It’s okay if you get gapped or miss a turn — just makes it extra important to download the route ahead of time! Routes will typically be posted to our Story around 24 hours before the ride.

Bring your own spares, food, and lights, and come ready for a good time. Roll out 6:15pm. Questions? Catch us at the shop or comment/DM us!

The men’s Tour may be over, but there’s still lots of exciting racing to come! Bring your friends to Gravelo on August 1 for complimentary snacks, drinks, sample massage sessions, and giveaways at our Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift Watch Party.

Party starts at 10am with an estimated race finish around 11:45am. You’ll want to stay til the end as riders battle for the Stage 1 finish!

The biggest race in women’s cycling is almost here! 🎉 Join us at Gravelo on August 1 for our Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift Stage 1 Watch Party. Great coffee, great company, and nine stages of world-class racing start here. 🚴‍♀️

What’s even better than watching the Tour de France at home? Watching at Gravelo on the big screen with coffee and friends!

Every stage will be streamed during our regular business hours. And we’re planning something special for a stage or two, so let us know which ones you’re most looking forward to!

Reminder that we are closing early at 5pm today (7/1) for the Lennie & Jake Memorial Ride.

Which we are doing instead of our usual Wednesday night group ride, join us!

And don’t forget your parking pass if you are parking at Gravelo!

Important notes for Wednesday’s Lennie and Jake Memorial Ride:

🤍 We will be closing early, around 5pm, to provide ride support and participate.

🤍 We won’t be hosting our usual Weds. group ride, but instead encourage everyone to join the memorial ride.

🤍 Please carpool from Gravelo starting at 5pm. There are ~50 parking spots in Marshall, and 100 people already registered, so please drive with at least one other participant. Overflow parking for Gravelo is available in the Wells Fargo lot after 5pm.

🤍 If you don’t have a parking pass and plan to leave your car at Gravelo, come inside to grab one.

🤍 For the safety of everyone, we ask that riders drive to Marshall to begin the ride, rather than riding to the start. The Woodfin section of NC-251 is highly trafficked, and we want to avoid groups of cyclists approaching the route in a spread-out manner that could create additional risk with vehicle traffic.

🤍 While this event is free, registration is required and we encourage those who are able to donate or fundraise for The White Line Foundation, an advocacy group working toward zero traffic fatalities

🤍 Your support helps drive the change that can prevent tragedies like this in the future. We’re grateful that more than $1,200 has already been raised!
