Relief feels even better when you share it.
Here’s how it works 👇
When you come in for your next appointment at Asheville Medical Massage, you’ll receive a $50 “Share the Relief” certificate to pass along to someone in your life who could really use it—friend, family member, coworker… you know who comes to mind.
When they redeem it, you’re both entered to win 6 months of free massage.
It’s our way of helping more people experience real relief—while saying thank you to the clients who trust us with their care.
So book your next session, take your certificate, and share the relief 💙

Is your back barking at you? 🐾
Your desk setup?
That old mattress?
…or your adorable, curled-up bed hog keeping your spine in a pretzel all night?
We love a good cuddle—but your body might be begging for a little more space (and support).
At Asheville Medical Massage, we help you get to the root of what’s causing the pain—so you can sleep better, move better, and feel like yourself again.
Don’t let it get too ruff… we’ve got your back. 🐶

Chronic Pain & Cold Weather: At-Home Support for Today
Cold weather can be especially challenging for those living with chronic pain—and days like today, when travel isn’t safe, are a good reminder that gentle care at home still matters.
When temperatures drop:
• Muscles tend to tighten and guard to conserve heat
• Joints may feel stiffer or more achy due to reduced circulation
• Chronic pain patterns can flare, especially in areas of past injury or inflammation
Here are a few simple things you can do at home today to support your body:
✔️ Stay warm
Use layers, socks, or a heating pad (on low, 15–20 minutes at a time) to encourage muscle relaxation and blood flow.
✔️ Gentle movement
Light stretching, slow walking around the house, or easy range-of-motion movements can help prevent stiffness—no pushing or forcing.
✔️ Hydrate
Cold weather can reduce thirst, but hydration is essential for muscle and joint health.
✔️ Support your nervous system
Deep breathing, warm showers, or a few minutes of intentional rest can help calm pain sensitivity and muscle tension.
✔️ Listen to your body
Today is not the day to “push through.” Rest is part of healing.
Cold weather pain isn’t imagined—it’s your body responding to real environmental stress. Supportive care, even at home, can help reduce flare-ups and keep things from escalating.
We look forward to caring for you in-office once conditions improve. Until then, stay safe, stay warm, and be gentle with yourself. 💙

Due to today’s inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, Asheville Medical Massage will be closed today to prioritize the safety of our clients and team.
We encourage everyone to stay safe, stay warm, and avoid unnecessary travel while conditions improve.
At this time, we plan to reopen tomorrow, pending weather and road conditions. We’ll share updates as needed.
Thank you for your understanding and care for one another. 💙
