Our 9u Expos got back to work last night to make the transition to kid pitch. There’s a lot of ways to define success in this game. Batting .300 and failing 70% of the time in the majors will get you into the hall of fame. In today’s travel ball culture of chasing greener pastures every season, the 10 players on the fall roster were ALL were with the team last year. We’re not “recruiting“ kids to make the team better, we want to develop the talent that’s right in front of us. Having the boys, families, and culture our team has built is a key part of our teams success beyond the wins and losses and teaching that life is bigger than baseball.

Our message to the boys this year comes from 1 Thessalonians 5.

“Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭

Kid pitch, here we come!!

Our 8U team has dedicated their season to Myles, an 8 year old battling leukemia. This weekend they finished their season by winning the 8u East Tennessee World Series and shaving their coaches head.

This team has embraced that life is bigger than baseball and set an example of what a travel baseball team can be when the focus is on developing character first, and baseball skills second. From our first Baseball and Baptism event to our World Series Win, we couldn’t be more proud of this team!

To Jesus be the praise!

We have 2 tournaments left for our Spring season. Instead of focusing on wins and putting pressure on the boys, God gave us another vision. Win or lose. Good play or bad play. We are Called to REJOICE! PRAY CONSTANTLY. GIVE THANKS.

Im so thankful for our group of parents and their dedication to developing the boys mental resilience. This weekend is another opportunity to let the light of Jesus shine!

Johnson City here we come!!!

We had our first 9u summer workout last night and it was filled with hard work, growth, and good times. We had over 20 kids show and God continues to open doors to use baseball as a way to show His love for us.

We are so thankful for every kid that came out and worked hard to improve their skills and learned about our team and organizations vision! We look forward to another workout on Tuesday 6/16. 6pm. Ray Kisiah Park. Free to attend.

Baseball is a symbol of America like no other. But without our military, our Veterans and the sacrifice of so many, we don't have the freedom to play the game or so many other freedoms we take for granted.

The concept for the BEANO T-13 hand gr***de (designed in the late years of WWII) was a spherical gr***de the size and weight of a common baseball and was considered to be highly effective in the hands of American troops. The designers believed that by emulating a baseball, any young American man should be able to properly throw the gr***de with both accuracy and distance.

June 6, 1944 was one day, of many, that preserved those freedoms and we remember today with reverence the ultimate sacrifice of so many.

GO AMERICA!
