A planning and listening process to look at growth and economic development and other issues across Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania counties. With a $1.6 million grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, local planners hope to compile a playbook over the next three years for local leaders wrestling with housing, transportation, jobs, energy, public health, and, of course, jobs.
