Our boys had a grind of a weekend going 6-1 at Prospect Select. Proud of their grit, passion, and love for the game, even when the final game isn’t a win. So much to learn from this game and we bring that to Savannah to the USSSA Global on July 8th

Welp, tied 8-8 in the bottom of the 5th with no-outs, we are in our second rain delay. Hoping to hop to a turf field - stay tuned!

After another rain delay and a game of hackey-sack, Stars WNC win 13-6 and move on to play for the Semi’s at 12:30 and then Finals at 3:00 Monday. Led by 3 hits by Jacob (3-4), and doubles by Wade Frk (2-3) and Johnathan Mendoza (2-3) and Kyeson Howard (1-2). Additional hits by Levi, Pierce and Gavin rounded out our team avg of .500 for the day.

Two Happy Birthday homers (w/ a grand slam) for Johnathan Mendoza leading the Stars to a 2-0 day and first place going into the the Semi-Finals. Combined pitching shut-out from Inman, Letterman and Frk in game 2, and batting average leaders of Eli Cox (.750) and Jacob Regan (.667) round out the offense. See you at Broome High School at 1pm!

We are 2-0 so far this weekend on 24 runs on 21 hits. The Stars are batting over .500 as a team and 4 players over .600. See you Saturday at 1pm!
