Air is Nature’s OG A/C.
A good breeze, and some water has always been the best way to cool down.

There's more to your guide.
A lot of guides spend the offseason preparing for the season they can't wait to get back to. Working jobs that have nothing to do with rivers. Saving money. Making plans that may or may not hold. Waiting for the snow to melt, the water to rise, and the season to begin again.
It's a lifestyle built around wild places, but not every part of it happens in them.
From the outside, it can be easy to see the river, the adventure, and the days spent outside. What's harder to see is the uncertainty, transition, and work that make those moments possible.
Behind the mastery of experience is a lifetime of showing up through seasons that didn't always go as planned.
