This is a fantastic opportunity to get professional experience, network with peers and potential mentors, and help behind-the-scenes to make conference a success!
Details:
- NCRID will cover your hotel stay, conference registration, and meals during conference
- You’ll assist behind-the-scenes with various conferece planning logistics and duties
- You will network with other ITP students, future professional colleagues and mentors, and community members from across the state!
- NCRID provides the Practice to Professional Student Rep training, giving you valuable tools, skills, and insights to best prepare you to transition into the profession

If you're not already registered, check out this excellent workshop hosted by NCRID Mid-State Region! This will be next Saturday 1/31 on Zoom, and you don't want to miss it!
This session invites interpreters to explore how neurodiversity and bias intersect within our field. Through personal reflection and lived experience as a Black and neurodivergent professional, Renee opens dialogue around identity, access, and self-awareness. Participants will gain practical tools to recognize and navigate bias, support neurodivergent consumers more effectively, and cultivate more equitable interpreting practices.
This workshop is presented in ASL and yields 0.4 PPO PS CEUs!
