Spanish Flow starts next week at World Dance Asheville!

This class blends flamenco inspired styling and musicality with the fluidity and grounded movement of belly dance to create a dance experience that is expressive, powerful and deeply connected to the music.

In class, we’ll explore:
• flamenco inspired arm and hand styling
• foundational movements from both styles
• use of the skirt as a prop
• turns, transitions and traveling movement
• dynamic contrasts between sharpness and fluidity
• expressive combinations that build coordination and control

Spanish Flow is for dancers who are drawn to expressive movement, musical interpretation and the connection between these two rich dance traditions.

Beginners welcome.
