Wisdom & Strength group hike up Mt. McLoughlin! 🏔️
My clients are so badass.
For 10 of us, this was their very first summit, and they absolutely crushed it. Mt. McLoughlin is no joke; the final mile to the top is steep, relentless, and incredibly humbling. But now everyone knows exactly why I make them do so many box step-ups every week. 😉 All of that hard work and consistency paid off today.
There are few things in life that compare to the magic of climbing a mountain and standing atop of the world.
I couldn’t be more proud of every single person who showed up, embraced the challenge, and gave it everything they had.
Thank you to all of my amazing clients who joined us. And if you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry, there will definitely be more adventures ahead. Getting to spend time together outside the gym, sharing epic experiences like this in such an incredible place while building community, is something I truly value.
I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for trusting me, putting in the time, the work, and making days like this so memorable. 💪🫶

Broken Arrow Skyrace 46k
29 miles - 9,000ft of technical ascent & descent.
What an incredible adventure; beautiful, challenging, epic, and brutal all at once.
This race was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. With thousands of runners toeing the start line over the weekend and some of the best athletes in the world competing, it’s easy to see why these mountains have become the stage for one of the most iconic trail races in the country.
I arrived with a lot of uncertainty. For the previous six weeks, I had been unable to run downhill without significant pain from a stone bruise along the metatarsals of my foot. Uphill running wasn’t an issue, but this course featured over 9,000 feet of extremely steep, technical descending making the challenge as much about managing my body as navigating the terrain.
Then race day worked its magic. The pain never rose above a manageable level, and I was able to move with confidence, trusting both my preparation and my understanding of my body. By staying patient and listening closely, I was able to finish strong without making the injury worse.
One thing I know for certain is I wouldn’t be where I am today without strength training. Weightlifting has always been the foundation; the thing that keeps me strong, resilient, and capable of chasing every adventure I love.
Learning the difference between discomfort that builds resilience and pain that signals harm. Understanding where the line exists between calculated risk and recklessness. I am constantly working to better understand my own body and will forever consider myself a student of that process.
At the same time, I’m grateful to be a teacher. Helping others discover what their bodies are capable of, empowering them to move with confidence, and guiding them toward becoming stronger, healthier, happier, and more resilient is one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Thank you The Broken Arrow Skyrace for this experience. Thank you Taylor Marie for your support and 📸 Thank you to everyone who continues to support me on this journey. Your encouragement means more than you know.

3 days in Sedona and the Grand Canyon; one of the most magical and awe-inspiring experiences of my life. The vastness, beauty, and silence of this place felt almost unreal.
The Grand Canyon has been on my bucket list forever, and I never expected to be here so soon… but Taylor Marie made it happen.
For my birthday, she surprised me with a trip I’ll never forget. I’m so grateful to share this life, these places, these moments and more experiences in the future with someone so thoughtful, loving, kind, intelligent, beautiful and deeply special.
Love you, and I’ll never forget this one 🤍

I sat here for my final goodbye to where it all started.
Goodbyes are probably the most difficult thing in life to endure, whether it’s saying goodbye to a loved one, a friend, a pet companion, a business, a lifestyle, a home, or in this case, an older version of yourself. And In those goodbyes follow transitional periods that carry the daunting weight of the unknown and that encumbered state is fear provoking. So provoking that it can completely obliterate your forward momentum and leave you in a state of perpetual shock, neither rising or falling, stuck, paralyzed in a trance of self-doubt and an internal conversation leading yourself to a justification of contentment in your current situation. But courage is not found in the absence of fear, only in its presence. In facing that fear you turn the page to a new chapter and new beginning. An important shift that only takes place after life’s adversities have taken root in your nerves and calloused your mind. A new beginning has taken deep roots and I could not be happier or more proud of how far relentlessly following this dream has taken me. From a debilitating spinal injury leaving me drowned in despair and chronic pain for over a decade, turning my home into a work space while I slept on a bed in a small side room for over 4 years to now having a commercial space and a living room again, a couch to sit on, these comforts feel so strange. New evolutions and so many amazing things are coming and I thank you all for supporting me through it. I am so grateful for all of the amazing people in this valley I call home. I have so much respect and appreciation for you all. I hope that whatever you pursue, you never give up.
