5th Annual Erg-a-thon and Bake Sale Fundraiser!

The 5th annual ergathon & bake sale is Saturday, February 28, 1:30-3:30PM. This is a fundraiser specifically for the juniors crew. The money earned goes into our juniors’ scholarship & regatta fund. Rogue Rowing never wants season fees to stand in the way of someone experiencing the joys of rowing. In that spirit, a scholarship fund has been created for athletes and their families.

Here are the details for this year’s event:
When: Saturday, February 28, 1:30-3:30PM
Where: on the Plaza in downtown Ashland
Who: All Rogue Rowing Juniors will be participating.
What: Athletes will row for 1 hour to complete as many 500 meter pieces as they can. Athletes typically row 15-30 pieces. Donors can offer a pledge per 500 meter piece OR simply pledge a flat donation. The hour long row will begin promptly at 2pm. Athletes will collect pledges during the week following the Erg-a-Thon. Pledges are due Wednesday March 11 at practice, please hand directly to coaches.

Our record to beat is 31 intervals or 15,500 meters.

This fundraiser has been very successful the past 4 years, bringing in between $5,000 & $8,000.
