Race day at ARCS. Did not qualify well at all and got beat by Alyssa but managed to pull something together for the mains. Started 9th and finished 5th in the B. Carpet racing is a lot of fun and I’m glad to be able to get the band back together. LOL!!!

First race on carpet. The car is good but the driver needs work

Ok RC people, I need some help with this one…. Our local 1/10 scale dirt track closed so I am switching to carpet. I was told that it is just black office carpet and that foam tires last longer than rubber tires. I was also told that foam tires are not as fast as rubber tires but that fine with me.

So, the question is where do I find foam tires for 1/10 scale off-road buggies??

The answers that I have gotten so far are: some guy makes them, some company overseas and the owner used to make them. I guess I’m looking for something a little more specific. I did find some HotRace tires but not sure if this is what I need.

Last minute decision to go to Big Dogs RC. Ran 17.5 2wd with the mod guys and took 2nd and started 5th in ebuggy and took 3rd. Not a bad day especially since I haven’t been racing in a while.
