Owl Creek Chase

Here are a few shots from today's race, although it didn't take place on Owl Creek Trail this year, the reroute still provided a great race. A very special thanks to the Parks and trails Grooming team and to all the racers and volunteers.

**NEW COURSE RE-ROUTE** Due to a moose family in the Buttermilk Ski Area, we had to re-route the 2023 Owl Creek Chase. Find out more at owlcreekchase.com.

The new course will be 13K and take place on the nordic trails by the Aspen Middle school and Marolt Open Spaces, and end at the same location of the Aspen Nordic Center. There will still be three timed sections that allow for the enduro format, and the shuttles from the Aspen Nordic center will still be picking up racers starting at 7AM.

Today Bib Pick-up: Bibs for Owl Creek Chase Race on Sunday will be available for pickup on Saturday, March 6th from 9am until 4:30pm inside the Aspen Cross Country Center and from 7:50am-8:50am on Race Day (March 7th) outside the Aspen Cross Country Center. There is no timing chip for this event - it will be hand-timed based on your bib # and interval start time.

College Coaches will pick up for the team on Sunday morning.

Please make sure your bib is visible at the finish and start.
