Sullie- 6 points
Shane- 2 points
David- 1 point
Bryce- 4 points

--------------------

Strath haven 47 Northley 36

Northley held a 5 point lead at halftime. Sh only has 1 loss in 2 seasons. So they are a very respected team in the area. The game was close until the end. Sh made free throws to close out the game. Very proud of the way the team played. Had some foul trouble early for our big guys which did hurt a bit rebounding, but overall the team did a nice job. Showed serious growth over the past 3 games

Dawson- 3 points
Luke M- 2 points
James- 12 points
Gaige- 1 point
Sullie- 14 points
David- 2 points

----------------------

Northley- 46 Radnor 36

Team got out to a big lead and then Radnor came roaring back to take the lead. Northley players stepped up their defense to build another solid lead. Team worked very hard and deserves all the flowers for sticking together and not quitting. Sometimes getting over the hump take a little while. These players showed grit and determination to take home the win. It was also as I told them a culmination of the work put in.

Dawson- 3 points
McGrath- 2 points
James- 22 points
Sullie- 6 points
Shane- 1 point
Bryce- 12 points

Springfield 40 northley 15

Josiah James 8 points
Sullivan Gatchell 6 points
Shane Dalton played really good defense and had a really nice effort overall. While he may not of scored he did a lot of little things well. Created a ton of turnovers on defense, grabbed a bunch of rebounds.

Northley 35 Springfield 22

Great over all team effort again. Shane stone played a great game on offense 14 points and tough defense. Max Freeman hit a big 3 and made some really nice passes. Mason King was a beast on the boards and also had some blocked shots. Elijah did a great job defensive protecting the basket. Bradydon hit a big 3 pointer to help the team and played stellar defense. Eric Kane controlled the paint area with his offense and defense. Great job to all the players as the team moves to 2-0 on the season.

Game day Wednesday @ Et Richardson middle school (springfield)

330pm 8th grade
430pm 7th grade

8th grade with a tough defeat today to dhms.

7th grade with a great win over dhms.

Josiah James led northley 8th grade with 19 points. Luke McGrath chipped in 4 points. In a tough matchup we thought the team battled and did the best they could. It was a great atmosphere with a packed gym. I doubt we will see another atmosphere quite like that one this season.

7th grade won with a total team effort. 9 out of 10 scored today.. Team went on a big run in the 3rd quarter to take a 10 point lead going into the 4th quarter. Eric Kane and Adbul west with big 3rd quarters. It was a total team effort with contributions from the entire team.

Win or lose we are always Proud of all the Northley student athletes

The remind app limits the amount of characters you can type so I'll leave a message here for the players:

8th graders- thank you for dedicating your winter afternoons to represent Northley playing basketball the last couple years. The development and progress as basketball players has been fun to watch, but really you are all great young men and future leaders. I tried to push you all to be your best, play your hardest, and to Never give up. Middle school basketball, while their are No playoffs, is a good test to see where you are as a player going into high school. I would love to see every kid on the team tryout for the high school team next year.

7th graders- I really enioyed watching you all play this season. Lots of growth and potential from this group. Please use the next year to work on getting stronger and faster, work hard on your fundamentals. You will see alot of Growth from your players in the next year. My hope is next bball season they come back ready to get it in.

We wish the student athletes nothing but the Best!

Congrats to the 7th grade team on their Win over Springfield. Grwat team win. First time since I have been involved a 7th grade team has beaten those teams in the same season.. Great stuff!

8th grade fell to Springfield who's only loss this season was to Garnet Valley. 8th grade played hard and kept the game within striking distance. It was a fiesty physical game. While Northley was short handed today, the players played very hard and represented themselves well and didn't back down one bit. I thank them for that. I want to Thank Josiah and Royce for playing up today and giving the team some valuable minutes off the bench. Allowed the players to get a little rest as it was a physical and fast paced game. Josiah had 2 points on foul shots and Royce had a nice Rebound and Put back.

Both teams close out the season Tuesday at home vs Paxon Hollow Middle School. Let's finish strong.

Uniforms will be turned in after Wednesdays team pic!
