THIS is why we do camp…
Not just for armbars and takedowns, but to help kids discover what they’re capable of
Like finding courage when something feels scary, kindness when it’s easier not to, respect when no one is watching, to keep going when things get tough, and to lift each other up along the way
One of my favorite parts of the week was watching them tap into their creativity through all the stories, art, and imagination
What a group we had. Truly.
Watching all of that unfold in one week is something we’ll never get tired of
A huge thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who helped make this one of our most memorable camps yet. And a very special shoutout to SAMBAZON for keeping everyone fueled and rocking purple smiles all week long 💜
Until next summer, Camp Agazarmy

One day, she probably won’t remember every drill, every class, or even every medal
But she’ll remember how it felt
She’ll remember walking into a room that taught her to be brave…
She’ll remember being challenged and discovering she could do hard things
She’ll remember the confidence that comes from earning something for herself
The medal around her neck may last for a while, but the lessons she learned along the way will stay with her for life
Moments like these are why we do what we do. ❤️🥋

We’ve watched this group grow into their training in a different way. The fundamentals aren’t new to them anymore, they’re understood, and now we’re seeing them show up with more consistency, more control, and more intention.
They’re not just learning what to do, they’re starting to recognize when to do it and why. There’s more focus, more accountability, and a real confidence in how they move and carry themselves on the mats.
Earning a grey belt reflects that level of growth. It’s a strong foundation, real understanding, and a group of kids starting to take ownership of their training, and it’s been a lot of fun watching it all come together.
