Atascadero Firefighters L3600

Atascadero L3600 would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Today, L3600 remembers the 343 brave men and women of the FDNY as well as the law enforcement and EMS personnel who gave their lives to save others. On this day 24 years ago, they rushed into the two towers of the World Trade Center and never made it home. We honor their bravery, courage and sacrifice and stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters across the nation. We will never forget.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and co-workers of those who were lost in yesterdays senseless act of violence against our fellow firefighters. We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Idaho.

This week Weston finished out his last shift as our firefighter cadet! He devoted seven months as a cadet, working alongside firefighters in the station and on calls for service. Showing his gratitude, Weston made cutting boards for both fire stations. We appreciate his great attitude and willingness to always pitch in. Thank you, Weston! We know you will do great things in life!

Atascadero firefighters want to thank Antonio Varia at Alle Pia for generously donating a BBQ to the Local 3600! We look forward to utilizing this BBQ for many fundraising events within the community. Feeling grateful 😊

Atascadero Firefighters continue to assist with firefighting efforts on the Palisades Fire. Our personnel have spent the last few days trying to protect homes along side firefighters from across the state. We are proud to be able to assist our neighbors in their time of need and our hearts continue to be with those affected by these devastating fires.

Atascadero firefighters were deployed to the Palisades Fire on Tuesday and continue to assist in firefighting efforts. The destruction and devastation is difficult to describe. Many have lost their homes and tragically, some have lost their lives.

For those that are looking for a way to help in this time of need, please consider . This is a nonprofit organization that provides support to California firefighters and the communities they serve.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to serve Atascadero and our neighbors in need. We also want to express our gratitude for the unwavering community support.

Atascadero Fire Local 3600 is backing Measure L24, a crucial road tax initiative that enhances community safety by funding vital infrastructure improvements. This measure ensures quicker response times and helps maintain the longevity of fire engines, ultimately allowing us to better serve and protect our neighborhoods.

Atascadero L3600 would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day! As a reminder, no fireworks of any kind are permissible in the city of Atascadero.

Yesterday, we were able to get together with for a family softball game and BBQ. We are so fortunate to have such a close relationship with our brothers and sisters in blue and had a great time getting all of the families together to enjoy the beautiful weather.
