Results in weeks, not years!

These videos may be a few years old, but the mission hasn’t changed.

We teach children potentially life-saving skills.

This comes before stroke development, which we also teach, after our students are skilled with their swim-float-swim sequence, and age appropriately.

Our lessons are designed around real-life water safety, helping children learn age-appropriate self-rescue skills before anything else. Swimming is a lifelong gift—but survival skills can make the biggest difference when seconds count.

Every lesson is taught with one goal in mind:
Helping children become safer in and around water.
Confidence and fun will develop with their growing skill sets.

What we practice in lessons and what you can take home.
Z is just 4 years old and swam across a nearly 40 feet long pool by himself, using the swim-float-swim sequence.
E just turned 2 years old, practicing his swim-float-swim with his mom and getting so good.
Both just finished their program a couple weeks ago, and have been enjoying the hot summer days at their own pool, while mom and dad are having peace of mind that their little guys have an added layer of safety when it comes to water safety.

Happy 4th of July. ❤️🤍💙

As you enjoy parades, backyard BBQs, fireworks, and time by the water, remember that drowning prevention requires layers of protection:

💦 Active, undistracted adult supervision
🛟 Properly fitted U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets when appropriate
🏊‍♀️ Survival swim lessons
🚪 Four-sided pool fencing with self-latching gates
📱 A phone nearby in case of emergency

One layer alone isn’t enough—but together, they can save a child’s life.

Have a fun, safe, and happy 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙

Most parents think of swimming as a way to keep kids active. But researchers and therapists have been paying close attention to something deeper: the way water changes how children regulate their emotions and behavior.

Swimming and aquatic therapy have been shown to improve emotional regulation, attention, behavior, and psychosocial functioning in children — including those with ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. These benefits go well beyond what you would expect from burning energy alone.

Swimming engages multiple sensory systems, providing proprioceptive, vestibular, and tactile feedback. The hydrostatic pressure of water can provide deep pressure stimulation — a similar sensation to a hug — which has been shown to calm the nervous system and improve focus.
Deep pressure increases parasympathetic activity (rest-and-digest) and reduces sympathetic activity (fight-or-flight), lowering stress and anxiety. It can also increase serotonin and dopamine, supporting mood stability and a grounded feeling.

Regular swimming training has been shown to stimulate the development of children's nervous, muscular, and motor systems more effectively than many other forms of physical activity. The rhythmic, repetitive nature of swimming strokes adds an additional layer of calm — one that tends to carry over well beyond the pool.

It is no surprise, then, that occupational therapists and pediatric physiotherapists regularly incorporate aquatic activity into therapeutic programs for children who struggle with sensory regulation and behavioral challenges.

Water safety takes multiple layers of protection, and no single device makes a child safe.
• Constant, focused adult supervision.
• Proper barriers and pool fencing.
• Coast Guard-approved life jackets when appropriate.
• CPR training for caregivers.
• Survival swim lessons to help children learn floating, turning, and reaching safety.
• Close distance, touch supervision for young children around water.
Floatation devices can create a false sense of security and can tip, slip, or fail when a child least expects it. They should never replace supervision or proven water-safety layers. https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/nation-world/relaxing-baby-swim-floats-safety-warning-child-drowning-death/507-be3cbb9c-dc6d-47aa-809d-543362522b24?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_WFAA
