Good season for UGA softball. It did not end how I hoped but they made the Super Regionals and had some great moments.

Georgia Beats Florida 8-7 to advance to the SEC Tournament Championship! They will face Arkansas.

The Bulldogs trailed 7-4 in the seventh inning before Kenny Ishikawa doubled to drive home two runs. The Bulldogs then took the lead in the following inning after Tre Phelps and Daniel Jackson each had a sacrifice fly.

Justin Byrd pitched a scoreless ninth inning to seal the game for the Dawgs.

Georgia wins the SEC Tournament semifinal game against Florida to advance to the championship. The Bulldogs will face the winner of tonight’s Arkansas/Auburn game on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
