We have all played with that one guy(or girl) who blames his bad shots on everything. From no grass, grass to tall, the wind, no wind, rain and many more. They never say man my swing was bad. Don't be that guy(or girl). Stop watching videos and go get a lesson. Having someone else help you with your swing and put you in the right positions is the only way to improve. If you don't come to me at least go to an instructor somewhere. Believe it or not the best players in the world and even golf instructors (I have a coach) go to someone to help them with their swing.
