Here’s another great story shared by Kyle Bevis! Congrats to your nephew Kyle!
My 10 year old nephew got his second buck out of the Redneck Blind a week prior to my dad on the Alabama Youth Hunt weekend. Same location. His name is Asa Czerwonka Attached is his photo with his main frame 8 with kickers on his G2S. We watched this deer all summer and knew he would make the perfect deer for my nephew.

Shout out to Kyle Bevis and his dad. Here’s a back story on their fabulous deer!
Hunter: Steve Bevis
Location: Cloverdale, Al
Date of Harvest: November 21, 2020
"SPLIT EAR" The name I gave to a buck 4 years ago. A random young 8 point that appeared on camera with a cut ear. Little did I know what kind of story that deer would transpire into. 3 years ago I saw him twice from a tree stand and let him walk because I knew he had potential. 2 years ago we had several night time pictures of him but never laid eyes on him. Last year he was back again and man did he fill out! And would you know it, one day walking to my stand I came face to face with him before he bolted. A few weeks after that I was on a food plot and here he came straight at me all until a doe blew and he was gone. Countless hours, studying, and planning on my part went into wanting to take this buck last year when I knew he was for sure a mature deer.. Now to this year, year 5, we hadn't gotten the first picture of him. My worst fears were looking more likely every passing day. Fast forward to November 21, 2020 my dad stayed to hunt in our Redneck Blind we recently had installed this year and I chose to go home even though dad kept telling me to stay. Dad text me at 5p.m. and said "got one". When my dad got to him he immediately realized who it was. Split ear, a story book deer that we have watched grow old. To top it off he shot him with the rifle he bought for my son Lawson... I immediately got in my car and headed to dad's house. After so many days and hours spent chasing this old brute I had to lay my hands on him. I hugged dad, he hugged me and we both cried. There's not a single soul in this world who deserves that deer more than my dad after his battle with cancer and overcoming it from a few years ago he has been able to hunt near as much during that time. Also, to "Split Ear"… your story will be remembered until the day I die. Thank you to Mobile Attic and Redneck Blinds for making this moment possible!
