PLAYING FOR THE TITLE! A back-and-forth game that saw #8 seed score in every inning they batted ended with the team winning 1️⃣6️⃣-1️⃣4️⃣, making them CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND! Josh Shelly hit the go-ahead RBI-double in the eighth inning that Rob Gordon scored on. The championship game is set for 9:30 PM ET on Saturday.

#8 seed survives to move on to the next round of the Avista NAIA World Series, beating #5 seed Southeastern University 8⃣-5⃣. Allan Gil Fernandez (2-R HR) and Ethan Wright each had two RBIs. Kolton Reynolds and David Ballenilla each had an RBI. The result of the second game today will determine if the next round is the championship round or a second semifinal round.
