SCRD Tactical On July 2nd 2023 Containment Crew and SilverFoxIndustries went to dinner with a bunch of friends after End War 2023.

We got to talking about tactical gear, and how it would be amazing if it could be colorful. Thus Silver Crew Research + Development (SCRD)

Last month at mid Hudson Comic con we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely meringue !!. After a month of owning her very own Symbiote Rig here is what she had to say:

"They may be for nerf gear primarily but gosh are they convenient for going to cons! Perfect space to store things you want to keep on your person and you can even hook your fan to them! Incredibly sweet people with lovely products that can be used for more than their regular intended use! Definitely would recommend! 🩵"

Thank you Meri for your very kind words and stopping by the Containment Crew booth and hanging out with us for a bit!

Throwback Thursday

Just a quick picture the three of us took at Endwar 2023, after the success of the initial Kickstarter.

We still can't express how grateful we are to all of you who participated in both of the Kickstarter campaigns and helped make the world of tactical gear a little brighter.

The humble Djinn and Minx based HvZ load out. Both blasters on slings and dual Dumpys on a Belt. One for full mags, one for empties. Works best with high capacity magazines. Use the Djinn when you want to send a ton of foam at the horde rushing at you, or swap to the Minx to pace your shots and conserve your darts.

SCRD Introduces Dumpy the Large Foldable Dump Pouch in Pacifist Pink!!
Sometimes the best way to survive the apocalypse is to bring a little pink with you.
The SCRD Dumpy is a large, foldable dump pouch designed to give you extra carrying capacity when you need it — and fold away when you don't.
But this isn't just any Dumpy…
This is PACIFIST PINK.
Because tactical gear doesn't have to be boring. Whether you're stashing mags, gear, snacks, spent darts, or questionable amounts of tactical garbage, the Dumpy has you covered.
Large capacity
Foldable design
MOLLE compatible
Maximum tactical fabulousness
Be tactical. Be fabulous. Refuse to compromise.

I was rummaging through some boxes when I stumbled across this blast from the past. Almost 13 years ago, John made a video (which is still available on the Containment Crew Youtube page) about this custom longshot that he had made. It features a brass breach, integrated front gun pump grip and a paint job that made a few people get more than a bit upset (they thought he cut up a Crimson longshot). The blaster has since been upgraded with a Remedy Metal boltsled.
